Canadian Wind Energy Association
The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) is a non-profit trade association that promotes the appropriate development and application of all aspects of wind energy in Canada, including the creation of a suitable policy environment.
Given the uncertainty facing a large number of public events around the world due to the progression of coronavirus (COVID-19), the CanWEA 2020 Spring Forum scheduled for April 28, 2020 in Montreal, Quebec has been cancelled.
Plans for the Alberta Golf Tournament and Electricity Transformation Canada are unchanged at this time as CanWEA continues to monitor the situation.
On July 1, 2020, CanWEA and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) united within the Canadian Renewable Energy Association to form one voice for wind energy, solar energy and energy storage in Canada.
