Canadian Wind Energy Association
The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) is a non-profit trade association that promotes the appropriate development and application of all aspects of wind energy in Canada, including the creation of a suitable policy environment.
More than 260 wind energy professionals from across Canada and the U.S. attended the CanWEA Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Summit from January 29 to 30, 2019 in Mississauga.
Summit attendees were presented with new ideas from entrepreneurs, exposed to new products and services, and invited to participate in a health and safety committee meeting. Delegates also participated in a “research huddle” to explore the details of current research findings.

On July 1, 2020, CanWEA and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA) united within the Canadian Renewable Energy Association to form one voice for wind energy, solar energy and energy storage in Canada.
