Canadian Wind Energy Association
The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) is a non-profit trade association that promotes the appropriate development and application of all aspects of wind energy in Canada, including the creation of a suitable policy environment.
Join us in Toronto for a CanWEA Connections networking event taking place from 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday December 1st, 2016 at Proof Vodka Bar in the InterContinental Hotel Toronto Yorkville.
The Honourable Glenn Thibeault, Ontario’s Minister of Energy will attend the reception and speak to attendees about the role of wind energy in the province as Ontario is embarking upon a review of its Long-Term Energy Plan.
CanWEA has been engaged in the dialogue to ensure that wind energy’s many benefits for Ontario’s economy and climate are realized in an updated LTEP. CanWEA is confident that the LTEP process will demonstrate a need for new cost-competitive, non-emitting energy and that wind energy will be an obvious choice to meet this need, so come hear from the Minister as he shares his views on the successes to date and the path forward for wind energy in the province.
Date: Thursday, December 1st, 2016
Time: 4pm – 6pm
Location: Proof Vodka Bar, InterContinental Hotel Yorkville
