CanWEA Connections Toronto

Oct 2, 2018 to Oct 2, 2018

Toronto, Ontario

Wind energy projects in Ontario are making significant contributions to Ontario’s economy. They are providing long-term, stable pricing for Ontario ratepayers and are an important source of sustained revenue for municipal and Indigenous partners.

Global investment in wind energy is on the rise and Ontario is a leader in the development of the wind turbine operations and maintenance supply chain for Canada. Ontario will have a need for new electricity generation in the 2020s and recent procurements have demonstrated that wind energy is the lowest-priced option.

Join us next to Queen’s Park for a CanWEA Connections event that provides access to MPPs and staff to talk about why wind power is the best option going forward for keeping electricity affordable, reliable and clean while attracting jobs and investment and helping local communities thrive.
