This category represents the elite Corporate Membership level at CanWEA. This category was designed for key players and influencers in the industry. Champion members are companies that are recognized leaders involved in setting direction for their specific sector and play an influential role in CanWEA activities, caucuses and committees.

This level is for companies that have emerged as market participants or supporters of the wind energy industry, and are expanding their activities to encompass a growing presence in Canada. Advocate members are participants in one or more key sectors of the industry and regularly participate in CanWEA and industry activities. This level is intended for companies new to Canada’s wind energy industry, or companies waiting for their business in the wind energy industry to expand beyond initial levels. Basic members have one vote at the CanWEA Annual General Meeting and have access to discounts, the CanWEA members-only website and timely industry information. The Associate Membership category at CanWEA is targeted to municipalities, government departments, non-profits and academic institutions. Associate members are eligible for discounts, have access to timely industry information and are part of CanWEA’s member listing on the public website. Associate Members are non-voting members of CanWEA.
Individual members receive an annual subscription to CanWEA publications including WindSight, Windsider and WindLink.
All CanWEA members are sent a comprehensive 2016 member level benefits sheet upon sign-up or membership renewal.
