Who: The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) proudly welcomes operations and maintenance professionals and accredited media to gather at CanWEA’s Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Summit on February 1-2, 2017 at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto. The event has been sold out two years running, and was expanded this year to allow more delegates to attend. Limited space available for accredited media.
What: The CanWEA O&M Summit, which includes a tabletop exhibit featuring leading companies in the sector, is developed with O&M professionals to help Canadian wind operators make informed decisions when it comes to operating their wind assets in Canada. Topics to be discussed include health and safety best practices, operational strategies, improving wind farm performance and returns, cold-climate challenges, and much more.
Where: Chelsea Hotel Toronto, 33 Gerrard Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 1Z4
Why: With nearly 12,000 MW of installed wind energy capacity and more wind farms coming online in the coming years, responsible and sustainable operations of wind farms has emerged as a critical topic for Canadian wind energy stakeholders. CanWEA’s O&M Summit will bring together key industry players from the entire spectrum of the wind industry, providing an opportunity to learn, discuss and better understand the operational issues unfolding in Canada’s maturing wind sector.
Media: For accreditation, please send your request to Lejla Latifovic, Communications Advisor, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also include a brief description of your primary area of interest.
